表情の美しさを追い求めて製織した、オリジナルリネンのフィールドジャケット。

本来では製織段階で切れてしまうほど、細く繊細な100番単糸のリネンを使って生地を作るため、素材の産地を厳選して糸作りから始めました。

製織の難しさを超えられる機屋を探し、織り組織を綿密に打ち合わせ、負荷をかけないようにゆっくりゆっくりと空気を含ませながら、時間をかけて織り上げる。

全ての工程で多くの時間と労力を使い、ようやく実現の叶った極上のリネンです。

リネンを高密度に織ると、織り上がりに硬いハリを持ちます。

糸本来のしなやかさを強調するため、特殊加工で硬さを抜き、漂うような艶を残し、気取らずも上品で、力みなくも洗練としたムードを纏わせる。

単糸が膨らみ織り目が小さな凹凸を持ち、柔らかなドレープが生まれ、艶と陰影が流れる。

今までのリネンでは見られない雰囲気を感じ取って頂けるかと思います。

そんな表情を持つ生地の動き方に合わせて製作したフィールドジャケットでは、ミリタリー由来の質実さや可動域の広さといった本来の魅力を引き継ぎながらも、タフさを削り、力が抜けた儚げなバランスで構築しております。

An original field jacket made from custom-woven linen, created in pursuit of a beautiful and expressive surface.
The fabric is woven using extremely fine 100-count single-ply linen yarns—so delicate they would normally break during weaving.
To make this possible, we carefully selected the origin of the material and began with yarn development.
After finding a weaving mill capable of handling such fine yarns, the structure was precisely adjusted and woven slowly, allowing air into the fabric while minimizing stress.

Through time and effort at every stage, this exceptional linen was finally realized.

High-density linen often becomes stiff, so a special finishing process was applied to remove excess hardness while preserving a subtle, floating sheen.
The single-ply yarns gently bloom, creating fine texture and soft drape, with flowing highlights and shadows.
It offers a character rarely seen in conventional linen fabrics.
This field jacket is designed to follow the natural movement of the fabric.
While retaining the functional roots of military wear—such as practicality and ease of movement—the overall toughness is softened.
The result is a relaxed, delicate balance that feels light and effortless, rather than rugged.

It can also be worn as a set with the 100/S LINEN TUCK SLACKS.
